You can request deletion of your Yuma account and associated personal data at any time.
Delete Your Account in the App
- Open Yuma and sign in to the account you want to delete.
- Go to Settings.
- Open Account or Account Management.
- Choose Delete Account and confirm the request.
Request Deletion by Email
If you cannot access the app, email us from the address linked to your Yuma account:
- Email: [email protected]
- Subject: Yuma Account Deletion Request
- Include your Yuma user ID, display name, and sign-in email if available.
What Will Be Deleted
- Your profile information, display name, avatar, and account identifiers.
- Your uploaded content, including photos, videos, audio, captions, and related metadata.
- Your social graph and interaction history where it is associated with your account.
- Your device push notification token and notification preferences.
What May Be Retained
- Payment, refund, anti-fraud, and accounting records may be retained where required by law or app store policies.
- Moderation, safety, and abuse-prevention records may be retained for legitimate safety and compliance purposes.
- Backups may retain deleted data for a limited period before they are overwritten.
Recovery Period
Account deletion includes a 30-day recovery period. If you sign back in during this period, deletion may be cancelled. After the recovery period, your account and associated personal data are permanently deleted or anonymized, subject to the retention limits above.
